Located 1.5 hours North of Dallas/Fort Worth, and Towering Oaks is a 24-acre event and retreat center with onsite lodging Butterfield Stage Players has been entertaining audiences for 40+ years. Our not for profit, community theater was formed in 1979 when a few of our Cooke County residents (Rodger Boyce, Tom Carson and Monica Hess) decided to embark on the endeavor of creating a community theater. The Heritage Park project was funded and built through generous donations from the local community and individuals and operates today as a non-profit business in Muenster, Tx.
