Mike Jones Auction Group, Inc. is a nationally recognized Auction and Real Estate company established in Gainesville in 1979. We conduct live and online asset sales, specializing in the sale of all types of real estate, estates, machine shops, manufacturing equipment, restaurants, oilfield equipment and specialty assets. We are known for conducting an $18M sale for GSA in 1996, liquidating Montgomery Ward and over 300 Western Stores. We also conduct government auctions, bankruptcy and court ordered sales. For over 45 years, we have worked for individuals, attorneys, lenders, corporations and governmental entities. Owned and operated by Mike Jones, he has a public podcast called the Mike McGavel Jones Show on YouTube. Mr. Jones also owns America's Auction Academy and World Wide College of Auctioneering auctioneer training schools. In 2020 he and his school was featured in Texas Monthly magazine. In Sept/Oct 2023 he will be featured by Bob and Kelli Phillips on RFD TV's Texas Country Reporter with a follow up on a story that first aired in1993 and filmed in part in Gainesville. Mr. Jones is a Hall of Fame Auctioneer and served as President of both the National Auctioneers Association and Texas Auctioneers Associations. He and his wife Sheryl own and operate Star 90 Ranch in McKinney and Pecan Creek Farm in Gainesville.
