Since 1910, Catholic Charities Fort Worth has acted collaboratively to bring about real improvements in peoples’ quality of life and assist individuals based on need, regardless of religion affiliation, race or nationality. In 2014, it became evident that the need in Northwest Texas merited a local branch of Catholic Charities. Since that time, services at our Northwest Campus in Wichita Falls include clinical counseling referrals for mental health needs, strategic financial assistance for utilities, medical needs and other needs; case management for low-income individuals and families to empower them to achieve financial stability; veterans services including mental health counseling and housing; and Education Navigation program which addresses the needs of college students and helps them overcome barriers to graduation, including hands on case management through a Client Navigator
