May 27, 2017--TIPSY TURVY CANVAS is Hosting a FUNDRAISER and SILENT AUCTION to support local Veterans and VISTO. Reserve your seat today so you can paint and keep, a Patriotic Canvas. This special painting has been created for you to paint to Honor our Fallen Heroes this Memorial Day. Perks of Registration to Paint: Registration includes: Supplies for painting, canvas, refreshments provided by Mom's Donuts, Subway, Walmart and Auto Body Concepts and you will receive the Honor of hand writing the name of a Fallen Soldier on a very special canvas created just for them. This special canvas with the names of our Fallen Soldiers, when complete will be donated to the Local VFW to hang on the wall where the names of our Fallen Heroes will remain forever and will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! The Red Cross will be present to provide information on the services they provide to our Veterans and their families. The VFW will be providing information on the services they provide if you as a Veteran or family member of a Veteran join the VFW. They can also give you information on who is a qualified family member of a Veteran to join. Information provided by the Cooke County VSO on State and Federal Benefits, Veterans Employment Program, Business Resources, Services & Benefits, Grant Support Services will also be available.
